What do I do if ESO is crashing without an error message on Windows 10/11?

Standard Troubleshooting

If you are having an issue playing ESO on a Windows 10/11 machine, follow the troubleshooting below:

Disable and Remove All Add-ons / Disable Libraries

To do so, move the entire folder out of its home directory and put it on your desktop. It can usually be found here: C:\Users\user.name\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live.

Alternately, you can also go to this folder  "C:\Users\user.name\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live" or "liveeu" and remove the SavedVariables folder, AddOns folder, and the text document titled AddOnSettings and place them on your desktop. These can be put back by moving them back into the folder.

Repair the Game Client

To repair the game client, open the ESO Launcher, click Game Options, and then select Repair.
